I want to give him some sort of awesome retro sunburst style background to emphasize what a winner he is.



I also want to finish coloring him so that he doesn't look so flat.

yes this guy could definitely use an interesting coloring treatment. like maybe just some shading even. I know you can do it!. or your name isn't J Finnius Mufferman.

I think I want his sidemost rays of glory to wrap around.

I demand shading! again. and more platypussez. please.

add some texture and shading to the platypus and this will look great :)

Mathiole already subbed a design with a very similar concept, I know the rendering is pretty different but just to give you a heads up before it comes up while in the running.
