Bring back the stars it gives the design movement. With just the black it looks like he's sitting in a void.

Very funny! I like the stars and sparkles version better, though. It makes more of a funny "dancing unicorns and sparkles and rainbows and love and..." except, haHA! It's an angry polar bear! Maybe just work with the movement of the stars. OR make it over-the-top sparkles, rather than stars, to get the cheesy humor in. I really like your concept!
