I agree with Tess. Also, the table feels too visually separated from the figure. Maybe a couple of lines to connect the two somehow?

i like the concept. i think it would be stronger if the dr were standing behind the table and perhaps had some kind of fantastical contraption that he doesn't know how to use but is trying to save the cat with. just a thought.

i can see your going for the style of the books but it looks like your either trying to hard or just not getting it... its such a recognizeable style that it has to be spot on in oreder to work right

he uses too many colors... it's hard to adjust properly. as far as the style... it's a parody. if I were to copy directly from the books that would be illegal. it's recognizable without being exact replica

I agree with rhythm. You can better emulate the style still w/o stepping on any toes. The style is part of the delivery of the parody, not the parody itself.



I also think that the tree and cabinets don't add that much (mostly the tree).

i would say leave out the blue color. i think its just a bit distracting and i think red white and black are awesome together

much better... i think the simplicty of this one clears up that style problem from earlier.... any color options besides white?

I'd draw the doctor more grinch-like. Something sinister.
