SO true. Few film adaptations satisfy the fans of the books. At least a movie gets the word out that there's a cool book out there...

Does anyone find a correlation between seeing a movie first or reading the book first? In colleges, I think that sometimes movies might be shown concurrently with studying textbooks, but augmenting a textbook might be different than what we're talking about here, books and movies.
This. Shirt. NEEDS. To. Be. Reprinted.
I have to own this.
You are right.I went to a sell used books campaign a few weeks ago and I must admit that there were very few people who were interested in buying books.I had the courage to ask a few teenagers when was the last time they read a book. The answer was "why should we read when we can watch the movie".I was shocked.
so true!! haha
I love this shirt! I wear mine everytime I go to a movie that is based on a book. This shirt has proved to be right every time. Who cares about the date, it's the idea that is completely true.
ugh the wrongness of the date really bugs me! I'm sorry but it's a showstopper for me.
Really? movies don't ruin books? Percy Jackson compared to the book? HORRIBLE. Twilight? Absurd!
Ella Enchanted? Not even close to the original! Eragon? The movie was pathetic. The only book to movie I really appreciate is Harry Potter, and that's because JK Rowling had the sense of refusing to give up all control of the movie rights. Love this shirt.
does anybody know the name of the girl? i think she's gorgeous
Movies don't ruin books, they complement it.
Seriously stop hating on the shirt because the date is not exact. It's the meaning of the shirt not the accuracy of it... haters.
Ordered one btw, love the shirt.
Plus, it's the spirit of the shirt, not necessarily the accuracy, that makes this shirt awesome!
guys 1920 was the time when the film industry really boomed and books began to actually become movies . the shirt's not necessarily wrong
I want to buy this shirt for my Film teacher so badly...but I don't think he'll take a bribe lol. (I love it, but the nerd in me wishes you added a MST3K reference)
