I'm sure someone has already made a post about this, but I'm working on a comic for my final work in graduate school, and am heavily in need of a large format scanner that's compatible with Mac. Any suggestions? Affordability is a huge issue as well :)

So, I did a design inspired by the happenings at UC Davis. In the glass of the riot gear helmet, the crowd are wearing guy fawkes masks:

So, I've been swamped with graduate work, and finally created a piece which I think works excellently as a shirt. AMAZING POWERS OF AGING:

So, I recently completed over 100 illustrations for this book: Barbarians: A Handbook For Aspiring Savages, and Benjamin Chadwick, the author who co-wrote the book with real life Barbarian Grute Skullbasher, came up with a t-shirt concept. Since the book, I've been wanting to make a t-shirt design about barbarians, and think this is pretty funny.

The main concept is a barbarian in the typical pose used for fantasy posters, getting shocked by electricity.

Here's the first rough:


Let me know if you guys would:
A. Find this funny.
B. Have any suggestions for what I should add, change, for the next stage of the design.

UPDATE:
Totally took your advice, and just made a rad barbarian shirt, with a pile of pop cultural rubble beneath him! Parody of every barbarian poster! Let me know what you guys think!

I've been absent from threadless for a while, mainly doing illustrations for a book I did for Insight Editions titled "Barbarians: A Handbook for Aspiring Savages!" which is due for release in October, but you guys should all pre-order and support, if you're into things which are AWESOME.
