about Dog Fight
My bf and i were both wearing Threadless t-shirts to meet friends, he was wearing A Birth Day and i was wearing Dog Fight.

After meeting two separate groups of friends, of which both groups commented on how cute his t-shirt is but didn't notice mine, i blurted out, "how come everyone notices his t-shirt but not mine?"

I then proceeded to lift my hair for them to get a closer look at my chest. After a pause, one guy finally said "ohh... i get it!" And then they made some comments (well at least my bf did since no one wanted to scrutinize my chest that closely)

OBSERVATIONS

1. The dog fight print is slightly skewed towards the right. This may have been ok with a larger shirt, but i wear XS so half of the origami dog could not be seen in a frontal view.

2. Girl with long hair should tie their hair before wearing it. Because the speech bubbles are high on the t-shirt, hair that is 2-4 inches below the shoulders will obscure it. The speech bubbles tell the majority of the story, so this is not good.

3. Nobody wants to be known for looking closely at girl's chests to understand a design. (Maybe that's why girly Ts don't sell as well.)

This isn't meant to be a criticism on the product which i find very cute (unless it's about the skewness) but i took home a few lessons from that episode:

LESSONS LEARNT

1. Look closely at girly T pictures submitted before buying to check whether the print will look different. Especially pictures submitted by skinny girls.

2. Choose t-shirt designs that are easier to grasp. I thought Dog Fight was, but hey maybe i overestimated observational skills...

3. Tie my hair when wearing t-shirts.
