I had a dream I made a zine about things in caves.
So now I want to make a zine with drawings about things in caves. Seriously, you guys... who wouldn't want a cave? Think of all the awesome you could do or find in there! CAVES 4 LIFE, DUDE for example ~ a cave picnic in candle light ~ a cave of one eyed wobblies (they would be friendly wobblies so don't worry) ~ lost jewelry and knives from explorers ~ dinosaur skeletons ~ trolls who enjoy ping pong etc....
everything is going here instead of my profile I guess this is a blog for myself:)

Well, I can't believe I got printed.....AGAIN!!!!! Since I'll probably just be repeating myself from my thanks, happiness, amazement and excitement from my first print, I'll try to keep it short. I just want to say here THANK YOU EVERYONE for everything you do and say and what not, along with the continuous support, I love you guys!! :D I just want to say one thing though.... always finish your designs!!! I'm saying that because I almost didn't finish this. After much mishap of me cutting and taping up paper incorrectly while trying to make a repeating pattern with these trees, I was about to crumble it up and throw it away... but I DIDN'T. I ended up spending the time to re-cut and re sort it all out using photoshop and I'm very happy that I did, because now a lot of cool people will have a cool tree shirt and my name is ON IT!!! THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE! I'M FLOATING!! ps. thanks Threadless the print looks top notch awesome in real life!! :) p.s. it's also available at society 6 as iPod cases and prints and other goodies! :D

YOU ROCK! about Music of the Night
Dear all of my lovely threadless pals,First off I have to say how thankful I am for finding threadless. It is seriously the entire reason I got back to drawing again and for that I am most grateful. I've been creating things simply for the love of creating and having great fun doing so (and still am!). It's utterly unimaginable for me to think that people all over the planet will possibly own something with my name on it. That fact alone is simply mind-blowing. I can't thank you all enough for your wonderful support. It means so much to me. A mega huge special thanks to fellow Michigander Jason Bergsieker (aka NomadSlim) for choosing one of my designs. Whoa, it's quite an honor. Thank you!! :D Oh man, I'll never forget that Hector (against bound) was one of the first people to comment on my blogs and offer me advice about my first design, ha ha. That to me was like a great welcoming feeling. He even pointed out to me some of the other amazing artists on the site that I should check out. This community is amazing, and I'm so glad to be a part of it. This is probably one of the most incredible things in my lifetime to happen to me. WOW. When I got the congratulations email from Mimi, I think I was ecstatic for hours on end. I still can't even believe it's happened and I've already got my shirt in my grubby little paws. It's still like a dream. The most incredible feeling of excitement was actually going down to Chicago and look at my shirt in the store window from the street. Wow. I never thought I'd ever be doing that ever. My guy (Mike) actually got his very first threadless shirt while we were there hooray!! (can you guess what shirt it was? ha ha) I also had the chance to visit the threadless warehouse. I was so so so nervous going there, but I was warmly welcomed and we got to hang around for a little while. I can't thank everyone there enough for everything you all are the best thank you especially to Joe and Mr. Festa thanks again for everything. Once again I can't thank you all enough for the incredible support, Yours truly xoxo Nichole I have peeectures...I hope this works: I made this at the kids store for all of you. :) |
