I've done these 3 paintings and after spending a lot of time with them I started to think they could make a nice tee design. I would obviously edit them a little to better fit a tee, but I would keep the overall concept the same. Let me know if you think so too. I would love some feedback. Thanks!
1. How Doth the Little Crocodile This one was inspired by a poem of the same name which appeared in Alice in Wonderland. The poem is basically about how a crocodile lures in fish who are willing to be his food. ![]() 2. Uh Oh... Pretty straight forward. About an old car who backfires while on a road trip through the desert. ![]() 3. Call of the Yeti Probably one of my favorite paintings, as you can see I used it for my profile picture. Just love the yeti's expression.
I'm just curious as to how soon Threadless lets you know you're going to be printed. I've wondered about this since I see that some tees get printed as soon as 40 days after scoring has ended. Also if your tee gets printed do you get a free one? And if so how many do you get?
Thanks to anyone who answers :) ![]() Tell me what you think of my newest design, Extraterrestrial Astronaut. I would appreciate any suggestions or comments you may have.
Alright so I've been working on some designs for Threadless most of the summer and I think I might be ready to submit one of them. The question is which one should I start with? Here are the designs I'm thinking are ready to submit, click the link for the critique.
1. Pebble Faces 2. Femme Fatal 3. I'm a lumberjack and... 4. Foxy Lady 5. Joker 6. The Aloha Fruit ![]() Let me know which design(s) you think I should submit first. I would also appreciate any feedback if you think I should make any changes as well. |

I'm an aspiring illustrator who is currently attending art school. I usually paint with acrylic or draw with pencil and ink so the computer is a little foreign to me when it comes to art. Most if not all of my t-shirt designs were at one point a physical painting or drawing. You can see some of the originals on my website so be sure to check it out :)
