About my design

Initially I wanted to do a design based on the old school colour-by-numbers books all the girls at my primary school seemed to be so obsessed with... as I progressed I realised that as a kid I never really got into them because they stifled my creativity. I always preferred a pencil & paints because they allowed my imagination to flow free, to make up the stories & images as I went.... I've tried to capture the feeling of that creative process in this work.... 5 colours painting light, dark, colour, shape & concept into the landscape. Unfinished & in motion.

5$, Sagestone shirt color for sure but increase the contrast of the grayish line color when it prints. Just like "No Repeats" it needs more contrast to help the great illustration read better on the fabric. You could even go with a Natural shirt color and it would work too.

haha... I guess its indicitave of how far removed my tastes are from the average voter that the bunny is one of my favorite elements of the design. In truth the lines are so thin that I don't think it'll appear nearly as boldly as in the preview

The design seemed so 'goody-good' initially that I felt it needed a twist of the macabre but this is an area in design where I commonly go wrong.... when my friends looked at this they were like 'dude... wheres the death part' being so used to my sick twists etc... I'm not going to say that if this gets printed I'll change it to fit everyone elses tastes but I take the point that in this instance the print would probably be more widely accepted without this element.
