I say keep the talk bubble but the rainbow isn't nessasary (I hate spelling words) your characters are really good.

The creatures look alot like David Lanhams style of creatures.

I agree, without the rainbow the shirt is a solid 5, something about the rainbow, perhaps its shape or placement just ruins the design

its the speech bubble that did it for me. I like the idea of depicting the sound, though not with the rainbow. Maybe vibration lines around the speaker or radial lines...old school 80s japanese perhaps. However, I also really like it w/o any sound. Like theyre rocking out but the speaker is off. I'd identify w/ it then.

I am fairly sick of all these 'cute' monster designs with the occasional cross bones and skull. Personally I would love for people to step outside of the box and view the world of creative expression.

I dig da speech bubble. ok, the cross bones on cute monsters thing is cliche...because its so ROCK. I dont like the rainbow, but not because its a (chromatic much? ) rainbow but just bcause its like, why is the speaker pug waving over their heads?
