yeah the typeface is too plain specially next to that awesome illustration, draw the text out by hand, as opposed to typingitin there
AWESOME!!! $5
on a light color shirt - natural, creme or even on white and use all text to name the shirt. |
yep I agree, the actual speech bubbles themselves detract.. beeautiful illustration though and very funny
I would prefer it without the speech bubbles, but if they stay the text needs to change. Again, fantastic illustration.
Great illustration, not sure about the text. One thing that bothered me is that the otter almost appears to have scales.
love the illustration and the text...i find the content of the speech quite funny, change the typeface if you want, but keep the content
Reminds me a lot of this T:
http://www.threadless.com/submission/134602/Now_That_s_Dope Which I like better... |
It's very like this as well.
But I think it's completely wonderful . . . except for the text. It just makes me laugh so much for some reason. |
I like the characters a whole lot, I wish the text looked more like the illo and less like it was just pasted in there. But overall I still love.
Wi Waffles, your updated design with the revised font looks heaps better (although you could probably tweak it some more just so it looks more hand-styled). Whatever you do, please keep the text -- it just puts the design over the top.
I would get this if it were just the characters, it's great. I'd also end up getting it regardless, I believe.
What the hell does pimping have to do with a cup of tea? Pimping is farting. I love the illustration, a lot, but the text fails.
aside from the fact Brits love taking the piss out of themselves (Monty Python for example), and whether you meant it or not, these are definitely upper-class English stereotypes
This is not only a beautiful illustration but pretty hilarious as well. I agree with AGil that your second go without the balloons is better.
Super cool illustration. But i have to agree with most that the font has got to go. Those two are funny enough on their own.
your second design makes me cautious to vote, and how you plan to get these colors printed worries me... but with fixed text this would be a sweet shirt so i am giving you the benefit of the doubt
If you really hart your text, I'd like it better if they didn't both say sir.
"Jolly good?" "Pimping, sir." |
Yet another vote for "use something aside from bleeding Times New Roman!"
The rest, however, is quality work! |
PLEASE THREADLESS PRINT.
I'll make you a deal, if you print this shirt I will personally do your laundry for a year. And I seperate whites and darks. |
Going back to something way back up there. Pimp my ride type English (axe instead of ask, exscape instead of escape) is ruining the English language. It may well be evolving, but in a very bad way.
