I definately like the illustration style. Maybe if the direction my eye followed was just straight up and down it would be alittle more dynamic. like if you tilted everything so that illustration started at a lower corner and the directions of the escaping wales was diagonal.

to clear this up- I subbed this design about a month ago by accident when i meant to send it into the critique, so I had it pulled from the running and made some changes to it

OMG, whales and squids, and beautiful ocean, and such amazing size and placement. I NEED THIS.

Although, I would prefer less triangle-shape to the design. Maybe getting rid of a couple of the dead whales and squids, to make them more scattered and more asymmetrical. Otherwise, the design is superb, and I would even buy it in its current state.

The dead ones, I agree, are a bit too triangular. But I love the design and colour choices, so it's a 5 from me!

FRICKINAWESOME on Nov 25 '07 I wish there was a giant storm cloud in the sky of the piece where all the fish were being sucked into (sort of a great garbage disposal in the sky kind deal), but still pretty interesting to look at.

igo2cairo on Nov 26 '07 I love your style, but I'm not sure about the over-all shape. I think Fricken Awesome's idea of a swirling storm cloud above it would be a nice balance and also look cool. In fact, I don't really think you need the dead whales and squids at all. Still, 5 for style alone.
