Why is his hand backwards

I think this one has lots of potential... but don't listen to me, i just registered today... I think the hand looks kind of messed up, and maybe don't cut of the bottom of his jacket thing.... show his legs or move the picture down. also, i like it without the music notes. other then that, i'd buy it

WELL... thanks for the votes of confidence... as far as the hand goes, corrections can always be made to improve the shadowing, but the original point of reference had the finger crooked, as if pulling the trigger of a gun...
I wanted to be as minimal as possible, but when I got to the mic/head, I discovered it was hard to tell what it was without detail... thanks again! |

the hand doesnt look backwards to me. tis just the shadowing that makes it appear to be backwarsds to some. its like one of those illusion things, whether you see the old woman or the young lady. fix that and i would buy it as soon as i had extra money that i dont have to use to payfor college

just straiten the index finger and move -where it meets the thumb- down... it should be nearly parallel since your finger tapers and the foreshadowing tapers in the opposite direction. THEN PRINT IT
make the music more ridged like yelling exclamation points. |

once again you have out done yourself! this is a quality pic and killer detail on the mic head. the hand does look a litlle weird, but with your explination, it makes sense. keep rockin man, i wanna see that "skyline" t-shirt done, i know you can make it happen!!

His finger is F'd. If it actually looked like the front of his finger (and thumb sort of) and not the back, this would be a much better shirt. And the music notes take away from the entire "coolness" of the rest of the design.

OK, folks, I'm all over the comments like a fat kid on cake.
Consider the repairs of the notorious finger DONE. I'd fix it right now and resubmit if I could, but that's not allowed (is it?). IF my submission is picked (hint,hint) the notes are optional. That decision will prolly be made by the Threadless team, not me. Thanks again to every-uno! |

Looks awesome so far. I agree with the comments about the hand. As for the notes, I love the idea, I just think they should look as hardened as the mic-head guy.

If you had it so the bottom lined up with the bottom seam it wouldn't seem so cut off. I agree with note deletion also. The microphone head is very nifty.
