Without reading the first comment, I really didn't know what was going on. I kept staring at those two eye looking things in the middle very confused. If those are eyes, they really don't fit in with the rest of the design, they seem too perfect, but I guess you wouldn't know it was a bug otherwise. Also, I don't like how large the splatter is. I think there is room for improvement though.

It's confusing, especially if you take it without the text.
perhaps if you figured out a way to incorperate the text into the image? (I'm also thinging 'a bug's death' would be more appropriate here) |

maybe if you used the yellows to make legs, or winds, or just make it more obvious its a bug
