I liked the shirt before reading the story. It's obvious enough that there's some kind of violent-robot backstory to be funny.

Well, its a cool design, but the figure of the robot really doesn't look like a robot. He looks more like a golem or a statue or something. 2 non-buyable from me...

Yoy really don't need to know the narrative to get this shirt. I've never heard of hugbots, but I understand what's going on jus t by looking at the picture.
The robot is giving himself away because he killed his former masters in a way that made him all bloody. He looks sad because it was an accident. It's funny because it's really obvious that the blood stains are why he's free. Funny, I'd definately buy it just the way it is. |

but the fact that it's from hugging gives the robot more character. it makes you feel even worse for him. it's great this way, but i'd buy iit as hugbot : D

i really like the concept, but it doesn't work without the title. also perhaps lose the sign.

cool concept, but it would be nice to have the word"hugbot" on his design somewhere, then lose the sign. no backstory is necessary, and it might even do better if the comic were not taken into question. It seems that a new, smaller, autonomous design of the concept might do well for this tshirt.
