I seriously wish you had chosen to make black the "good" one - it's so cliche to have black = bad and of course, is part of ongoing unconscious racism.

tesco on Feb 27 '06 good point ciani, originaly it was the way you suggested... but after feedback from the blogs I caved in and changed it to the conventional way. but whatever, the colours are never set in stone... just imagine different ones if you dont like them!

and leave the colors the way they are. it has nothing to do with racism (where did you get that?! that was like, "omg black = bad so that's why people hate blacks!" um no.). the yin side of a yin-yang, which is the black half, represents the colder, more negative half of the universe. to reverse that would kill the whole design. |

really nice. it would of been nice if you didnt cave and change the colours, but its still good. (i dont agree with the racism thing, it just would of been less conventional and obvious).

the yin and yang aren't necesarily good and evil. Taoists bleieve that everything in nature is balanced. These properties cancel each other out, pretty much and all one is left with is nothing.

i dont know why entropy is in the dark side? that doesnt really make sense. Entropy isnt some force of evil, unless ur like a hardcore evolution fundamentalist i guess, its just a law of nature, its nothing bad.
other than that i think its clever, id like to see entropy replace with something truly evil like politics, or like conformity or something else that teens and preteens will gobble up. |
