Reminds me of a Pink Floyd song, only without the warmth.

Forget the obvious technical flaws, why wouldn't you call this guy on the obvious rip of a Pink Floyd album? I am hoping you just didn't know. The design is also terrible and bland and has no significance and offers nothing. This is truly terrible. I just took a look at your other submissions and not one of them has any originality or significance. You really need to stop, every design you have done is terrible, they offer nothing, and even look bad, nobody I know would want to be in the same room with one of your designs. I am sorry, your submissions show no promise of you advancing as a designer. Either take some real classes (preferably college level because they are the only ones that can help this) or just cut your losses and stop now, please.

where's the pink floyd rip? only resemblence I spot is the word "Wall"....and that's only there because the theme of this competition is actually named "Off the Wall".

i hate hehehe and you all should too. His comment was completley uncaled for and is not one to be dissing peoples designs when he has only been a member for the day. Please join in the fight against hehehe and his malicious comment. Anyway this deisgn isn't great but it works. just needs more perspective. 3

I mean....it looks ok, but I REALLY doubt that they want a bunch of submissions of walls or submissions containing "Off the Wall" on them. This is for a contest where the art will be made into decorative wall patterns......who wants a wall on their wall?

I hate the term "Think outside the box", but my god...THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX! When the contest is called "Off The Wall" and this is all you can come up with...Zero.

i think with some work it could be interesting... perhaps go in and add some detail to the texture of the brick, or something? it's all a little to clean-lined for me.

i dunno, just really boring.

i like the text in the bricks, the way it flows in perpective.

this is not that great at all sorry... its just too clean, the bricks should be a bit chipped or something... i use 3dmax and the lighting here is a bit flat, some shadows in there could make it better... work on it and it could get somewhere...

i beleive Vans shoes co has that 'off the wall' as a copyright or soemthing, like nike just do it.

I don’t mind people coming after me for speaking the truth, the truth hurts and some people can’t take it so I expect that. viktor01, of course I can read you idiot, but everyone can see you can’t spell. I am a student and don’t have a lot of time to waste making a design for nothing right now (I believe there are very good subs that should win), but when I have free time I would love to CONTRIBUTE. Anyway, I have been just appalled at the lack of thought and talent on this site and then have so many people praise it. I guess that pushes me to speak the truth, maybe harder than I like. The “Off The Wall” contest is not advertised and so was unaware of it but now know that they did not want “off the wall” in the design anyway. Pink Floyd is “The Wall”, Michael Jackson is “Off The Wall”, a little confusion but all cleared up now.

cardcastleruins, you got told. Tricksleeves, your designs actually show promise, sorry for offending you. fourengland, I was being constructive on yours, I was showing you how to be humorous is all.

Lidstrom, you are correct, which is why I'm assuming they do not want "Off The Wall" in the design. Still it's a little difficult to determine what an "Off The Wall" style is exactly, maybe that's the point though, to be a little vague.
