Won't be too appealing for those who don't know color codes.

Funny, but a little too inside (and a little nerdy) for non-graphics folks.

hexidecimal no tridecimal. so technically you used more than 4 colors with all the color codes there. anyway, 2

graphics people need a nice insider t-shirt every now and then too. I say go whole hog on the insiditude and take out the crayons.

i think you don't need the color codes. not everyone knows them. just add more crayons

The black outline bugs me, but otherwise it's cool.

I like it, but not the half assed #fff and #ooo. It makes coding messy. And yeah, I don't like the crayons much. I'd buy it though

As far as I know, tridecimal #fff and #000 are valid shorthand codes in CSS, and they're widely used in W3C standards-compliant sites by top web designers.

Or at least that's long been my understanding. Here's an example of tridecimals being used by Dave Shea, the guy behind CSS Zen Garden.

I could be wrong though. Anyway, I did originally have them as hexidecimals, but I had to switch to shorthand to make them fit.

I just have to say, that this is an ingenious design idea, even if most people won't get it. Kudos to you Chimerical.

concept is decent, but the design is far from desirable.

Yeah, I was considering making the coloring book partially colored in, but I had already reached the 4-color limit.

geeky! neat! is it just me or the #ffoooo is not mentioned on the shirt? would like full 6 digit color codes, distracting otherwise. :)

maybe color in one part of the shirt and really messily so it looks like a kid colored it in!

NICE! Don't know the whole color coded thing or tridecimals but in layman's terms color by number.?.? Any how $5 If the crayons looked more like crayons.

lynch84 on Jul 10 '06
the coded colors are actually not a bad idea, but when you mix it with a really poor illustration, its a flop.

concepts cant carry all the weight...make it prutty too.

? The coloring book illustration? Which part?

Though the shorthand is common, I think it would look better if you went with unabbreviated hex. Why the white bib? Funny though!
