About my design

Useful Travelling Information. Incomparably portable.

As far as I know, all information is accurate. Socket diagrams are correct for each country.

Uh huh. And is it actually accurate? As far as you know, right?

I like it, but I know a lot of people would crowd right up to my chest to try to read those tiny boxes. Wait, maybe that's not a bad thing... :)

I did a lot of research for this tee.
bananaphone
   bananaphone on Aug 01 '06
this is great but not the kind of thing im looking for on a tee.

Maybe it'd work well as a travel map of some sort - conceptually. Doesn't mean im giving you a bad mark though, well executed.

ilexwhite on Aug 01 '06
Sorry about your research hours, but I don't see it for a tee...

I personally think this is a cool shirt! I would enjoy this as both a shirt and a reference.

Different people like different shirts-- some like unicorns doing it, some want threadless to make one of those hulk shirts for girls with boobies popping out, some want a panda holding a tiny flower toward a bumblebee... To each his own!

neat

^^Maybe because they use the same outlet as countries surrounding them? Also, boxes for Norway and Denmark would never fit.

They are all on lonely planet. This will be a lonely shirt.

I think "UNIVERSAL TRAVEL SHIRT" wouldn't be out of place in the production graphic..

   Mo$$ on Aug 02 '06
Wait, that universal travel shirt stuff is just on the sub. It's not meant to be on the final shirt.

4$ and i rarely give the $. feel special. i love travel and i love this design concept. my only suggestion is to maybe add more info, play with the colors, and design size.

Haha indeed, it is very usefully travelling information if i'm on a phantom tollbooth.

Very portable. Although, if I were to use it, I would need to figure out a way to read my own shirt upside down.

I like it, it would be strangely useful, there isn't a bigger picture is there? I'm curious as to what the sockets look like now....

Oh, and 5$

Cool idea, they should stick this on a mannequin next to the plug adapter section in the travel shops. Might help clear up some of the confusion caused by the blurbs on the back of the packets that try to be as vague as possible about which plug you should take to country x (so its one of these three eh? great).

I remember going to India where travel info (in NZ at least) recommended the British plug, oh so wrong, I saw one in three months, unused in the corner of a railway ticket booth, use the European plug Luke...

At first glance, I was a bit confused as to what was actually going on. Upon further studying... I love it. Great Idea. Great for a personal handbook, and just a fun idea in general. :)
